History of the Studio
This historic studio was first built in 1919 as the Thomas H. Ince Studios. Since then it has been home to
RKO, David O. Selznick Studios, and Desilu Studios (Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) among others. Orson Welles'
Citizen Kane and David O. Selznick's Gone with the Wind were shot on the lots.
